I was riding through northern Arkansas when I got the email from Rogue. Bruce Rossmeyer had been killed in a motorcycle accident in Wyoming. He was with a caravan of friends, on his way to Sturgis when he collided with a truck pulling a camper.
For those of you who didn’t know Bruce, he owned the world’s largest Harley Davidson dealer, located off I-95 in Daytona, Florida, in addition to numerous other dealerships in Florida and across the nation. He was actively involved in many community organizations and is survived by his wife and five children. For more information about Bruce, visit his website at www.brucerossmeyer.com.
We have lost an icon in the world of motorcycling. This tragedy serves as a stark reminder to all of us that we cannot take life for granted, especially when we are on the open road.
Please keep his family in your prayers.
