Hey folks its getting to be that time of year again. The granddaddy of all Toy Runs in Florida happens right here in Brevard County. The 31st annual ABATE Toyrun is coming up quick on Sunday, December 2nd. As usual the line up starts at Merritt Square Mall in Merritt Island around 8AM. The run usually starts about noon and proceeds to BCC Wickham Pavillion in Melbourne. This is probably one of if not the most worthy cause happening this time of year. ABATE has been teamed up with Shriner’s Hospitals to provide thousands of toys for children who are in one of their hospitals around the state. Other local charities also benefit from the thousands of toys collected during this event. The local shriners have always been gracious enough to provide free hot dogs and refreshments for this event. Between the ABATE and Shriner volunteers, hundreds of man hours have been invested in this event to make it go off so smoothly.
As always, Sinclair Law Offices will be donating 5000 commemorative koozies at the event. This has become a tradition many people look forward to every year. This year’s koozie will be a special one to get your hands on due to a design change that is sure to generate some excitement. We look forward to seeing you at this very worthwhile event.
